If you are bringing your children, they will never be bored and might sleep for days. While exploring the property if you don't see abundant wildlife, you might need new glasses. Tell the kids to keep their eyes open for Whitetail deer, and possibly the reclusive wild sheep, Axis, and blackbucks. Also be on the lookout for the plentiful ancient fossils that litter the property (please photo but don't take). We were told there are also fossilized dinosaur footprints on the property but the previous owner is gone. If the kids find them again, your stay is free. The home comfortably sleeps ten with 2 king beds and 3 queen beds. When the final oranges and reds of the sunset have faded, you will have a decision to make. Do you hit Historic Downtown Fredericksburg just ten minutes away for some fun and winery hopping or do you sit in Adirondack chairs around the firepit at the water's edge with wine or s’mores while you watch ten thousand stars wake up one by one? (Our recommendation, do both!) Either way, you can have as much fun and be as loud as you want, you won’t wake up the neighbors. While you are here, this is your own personal estate.
