Situated in the historic Battery Heights neighborhood only 4 min (1.2 mi) from downtown! Rest here after hitting the town by watching the 50" Flat Screen Roku TV on the sectional sofa in air conditioned comfort and ceiling fans. Or, grill out with your friends and eat dinner on the patio. Enjoy the fully-stocked coffee bar in the morning before working at the desk in the main bedroom.

We really enjoy hosting people at our place as much as we enjoy staying at other airbnbs when we travel. We love basically anything to do with the outdoors! Hiking, skiing, camping, biking, and traveling. We've been married for around 10 years and we live with our dog Napali so we understand that people want to travel with pets so we allow that. Battery Heights is a historic neighborhood with many beautiful houses with manicured lawns, a mix of older and renovated homes. It is, however, located less than a block from New Bern Ave, so there may be some noise in the distance as is the case with many areas downtown. Just a short 4 min uber ride or the #15 bus will take you downtown. The #15 bus stop is on New Bern & Tarboro st just 3 blocks away. Check any map app to get bus routs or search GoRaleigh and click on "Maps and Routes". Street parking is free. Please park in front of the house or in the driveway.
