Tucked in a quiet residential neighborhood of East Austin, just over a mile from downtown, this East Austin home features delightful perks like a front porch with built-in benches and a fenced yard. You're just a half-mile to Disch-Falk Field, home of UT-Austin baseball. In the morning, take a breezy stroll to a cafe. This charming neighborhood boasts some of the city's best bars and restaurants. Literature buffs won't want to miss the O. Henry Museum. Music lovers will want to explore Zilker Park, less than four miles away, home of the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Kids will love the Zilker Zephyr Miniature Train. On warm summer days, bring your suit because the park also boasts a 3-acre spring-fed pool. Visit the many other parks along the Colorado River. Rent a bike and ride along the Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail.
Inside, aged walnut flooring, vaulted ceilings, and laid-back décor make it easy to unwind. An inviting open floor plan makes spending quality time with your group easy. Relax on the leather sofa and two vintage chairs in the living room, or watch a movie on the 50" TV. The beautifully updated kitchen features cherry cabinetry, white granite countertops, and a unique stone backsplash. Whether preparing a simple dish or a Southern-style feast, the gas range makes meal prep a breeze. After dinner, remove the tablecloth to reveal a poker table – and let the fun continue with a game of cards.
Retire to the primary bedroom, outfitted with an armchair and a remote-controlled ceiling fan. There's a stacked washer/dryer in the nearby bathroom. A bonus alcove near the front of the home has a sofa bed and a privacy curtain.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
