A quick one-minute drive, or five-minute walk, will take you to Sandy Beach, a beautiful small beach located through the trees. Or make the quick 5-minute drive to Waterman’s Landing, which is a pet-friendly beach great for swimming and where you can rent every type of watercraft imaginable. If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 14-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 3 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues. This home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
