The owners and innkeepers of Devereaux Shields House are Ron and Eleanor Fry. Their joint interests include historic homes, history and travel. Ron’s interests also include woodworking, running and model railroading. Ron is an AF Veteran from the Vietnam Era, an Aerospace Engineer with 3 degrees from Univ. of Michigan and now retired from Johns Hopkins University. Eleanor is a former financial analyst with a passion for cooking and according to Ron an excellent chef. Both have over 12 years of innkeeping experience. Ron is a current Board Member and past president of the Bed & Breakfast Association of Mississippi. They pride themselves on offering classic Southern Hospitality, a full service luxury yet frugal experience, and comfortable lodging, relaxing ambience & fine dining. They seek to help each guest satisfy their desires for a relaxing Natchez stay.
