Relax with family, plan a fishing weekend with friends, or enjoy a private getaway on our canal front home with dock, just a short walk to Alligator Point beaches. The Flip-Flop Hideaway is the perfect escape on Florida's Forgotten Coast. So many options for fun without screen time: get out the cornhole, fish off the dock, bike on the new trail, kayak in the bay, or just sit back with a book and birdwatch in our shady backyard. The house is full of amenities; all you need are your flip flops.

We currently live in a suburb of Atlanta and have both lived in various parts of "the A" for longer than we care to admit. ;-) Meeting new people and familiarizing ourselves with other cultures is something we both enjoy. We love to travel and in addition to having traveled to all 50 states in the US, we’ve also visited 22 countries in total in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Alligator Point is a small community made up of beach homes with a marina and seasonal tiki bar. We're located on Florida's "Forgotten Coast" where nearby attractions include Bald Point State Park, Edward Ball Wakulla State Park, and the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. In addition to its quiet beaches, Alligator Harbor is known for its fishing, shrimping, and clam harvesting. The wild life viewing is also amazing since the area is not nearly as developed as other popular beaches. Some of our wildlife favorites in the area are dolphins, otters, white squirrels, plus a plethora of different bird species. Alligator Point has a new bike trail, so if you bring your bicycles you can use those to get around.
