Have fun and enjoy this calm, stylish custom built log cabin on top of Florida Mountain. Conveniently located on the Mohawk Trail and on the snow mobile trail. Close to North Adams, Berkshire East and other ski resorts. King bed in the loft and 2 queen beds with a full kitchen and a cute porch. Slow down and enjoy the beautiful view of the highest part of the Hoosac Mountain from your porch. Nature, art, culture and outdoor activities nearby. Free Internet & TV
Wayne and I are both young retirees who love to build stuff. In 2018 we did the unthinkable and bought the Wigwam Western Summit site unseen while on vacation in Vermont. The Wigwam had been vacant since 2008 and was abandoned for nearly a decade.
The Wigwam is such a special place and it brought Wayne back to the Berkshires to retire. We love hosting and meeting people and can provide recommendations to make your stay more enjoyable!
Located on the corner of Oleson and Mohawk Trail which is the main intersection of the town of Florida, this log cabin is effectively located in "Downtown Florida". The population of Florida is about 700 and is on top of the Hoosac Mountain Range in the most picturesque portion of the historic Mohawk Trail.
