With stunning mountain and canyon views, our suite has a private entrance off of a huge all-season patio with hot tub and 2.5 acres of groomed trails leading to a hilltop fire pit. Furnished with a queen-size bed, reading chair, futon couch, gas fireplace and HDAppleTV, kitchenette, coffee station and large bathroom with tub/shower combo. A perfect couple's mountain getaway! We live in the main part of the house and are always available when on-site! Situated equidistance from Boulder, Golden, Denver and Nederland, we are 30 minutes from world class skiing (Eldora Mountain), world class dining (Boulder/Denver), world class hiking (Golden) and world class recreation (Gross Dam Reservoir)! At 8,300 ft. elevation, Coal Creek Canyon is true mountain living, but less than 20 miles from the city! Also, although we are in a rural setting, we've got ample services within 5 minutes: Gas station, mini market, coffee shop, hair salon, garage, sports bar/casual restaurant and a family-owned Mexican restaurant that's been in business since the early 1970's! There is amazing hiking right outside our door (we can provide a map of our favorite routes) and the Walker Ranch Loop trailhead is just 10 minutes away. There is NO public transit up here (closest is a 15 minutes drive), but Uber, Lyft and taxi cabs all service this area. That said, a vehicle is pretty much a must for getting around and you will need AWD to make it up our long, steep driveway.
