Offering year round accommodations from large five bedroom lakefront homes to small cabins and private island cottages. Full kitchens, private baths, dvd and wifi. Rates include free use of our kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards.
Natives to Moosehead Lake and Maine, we enjoy nothing more than to introduce my part of this beautiful world to new visitors. We manage 19 waterfront vacation properties and get to meet so many incredible people from all over the world. We do what we love and love what we do! When not hosting, I enjoy fishing, skiing, sailing, paddling, diving, hiking and traveling internationally as much as possible with my two young boys. Our favorite day trips are only a few miles away on one of Moosehead Lake's secluded islands and pebble beaches. Our favorite city to visit is Old Quebec, only a 2.5 hours drive. After a long Maine Winter you can find us thawing out in the Dutch Netherland Antilles or BVI.
Located in the center of Moosehead Lake, Rockwood is a wildlife haven. Moose, deer, bald eagles, otter, beaver and fox are often seen. Guests also report sight­ing coy­otes, black bear and wild turkey. Moose­head Lake is home to land locked salmon, brook trout, lake trout and small mouth bass. Loons, mer­gansers, hawks and many species of song­birds and water­fowl are seen daily from the cab­ins. The Moose­head Lake Region is also sur­rounded by 2 mil­lion acres of Maine State con­ser­va­tion land all wait­ing to be explored. Our wide selection of waterfront cabin rentals put you in the heart of it all.
