Newly remodeled in the heart of Auke Bay The views cannot be beat. The apartment is located within a mixed-use building located in the heart of Auke Bay, about a 20-minute drive from downtown Juneau. The building also hosts multiple restaurants, salons, bar (located at the opposite end of the building), as well as a laundromat. Additionally, there is a brewery and yoga studio right next door. You will also be right across the street from Statter Harbor where you can rent kayaks, and where the majority of Juneau's whale watch tours and fishing charters begin. Amenities include: -Helix mattresses -Brooklinen 100% cotton hotel linens -Smeg refrigerator -Public Goods soaps -Nespresso machine & pods -Pour over coffee -A/C units (very uncommon in Juneau) Located in the heart of Auke Bay next to an elementary school and across the street from Statter Harbor. You'll be within walking distance to trails, UAS, Auke Lake, the harbor, restaurants, a bar, breweries, salons and a yoga studio. You could potentially take a taxi or uber to the apartment and not have to rent a car. A large parking lot is behind the building. You will be within walking distance to everything Auke Bay offers. The airport and glacier are about 5-10 minutes away by car, while downtown Juneau is about 20 minutes. Our building is located on a fairly busy road, so there will be some road noise. All curtains in the unit are sound deadening (and blackout for Alaska's long summer days) and there is a sound machine provided. The apartment is located on the second floor of our building and accessed by stairs. We are currently working on an exterior remodel of our building. We made some headway during 2024, but still have some work to do so you will see some areas of our building that aren't the prettiest. Always remember it's what's on the inside that counts ;-).
