Your Hosts look forward to greeting you and welcoming you to Mount Dora; they have over 28 years of innkeeping experience, Margie's family owned The Seabreeze Apartments on Singer Island when she was growing up. Margie & Randy owned Heron Cay Intracoastal B&B in Jupiter for eleven years, selling it in 2002, and purchased the Darst Victorian Manor in 2005, changing the name to follow their legend in the North Palm Beaches . . . We have dogs and cats that live with us here, they are clean, quiet, friendly, well-mannered and stay in our area, they do not roam the house . . . Margie & Randy's past life included restoring (flipping) neglected properties; Margie began her real estate career when her daughters were young and a flexible schedule was helpful. Randy grew up near Chicago, graduated from University of Florida and turned his love for 356 Porsches & his engineering degree into quite a restoration business in the '70's. Margie & Randy enjoyed snow skiing, traveling in their motorcoach and especially cruising the Bahamas before settling in Mount Dora . . . Daughter Melissa and Grandson Jacob are currently assisting Margie with innkeeping duties . . .

Heron Cay is not an old house, it was built in 1995 to be a B&B . . . Charming, spacious rooms/suites with a Florida Victorian Flair . . . En suite baths, Cable TV, WiFi thruout, mini frig, embroidered bathrobes, hair dryer, coffee pot, etc and a Full Hot Breakfast; lovely pool/patio area, plenty of safe parking on more than two lushly landscaped acres. 周辺エリアの情報
Mount Dora is not a typical Florida town, it will remind you of the Carolina Mountains or the Northeast/ New England part of our Country . . . There are Hills, numerous huge lakes, (not ponds dug to build a new community) and big trees with Spanish Moss . . . People are friendly and traffic is mild, unless it is during one of Mount Dora's popular Festivals . . . Enjoy Mount Dora's fabulous restaurants and quaint shops, no chains or franchises in Historic Downtown, browse Renninger's Antique & Flea Market, take a Sea Plane Ride, enjoy boating on our lakes or visit several nearby Springs . . . The Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf Coasts are just a little more than an hour to the East or West, or in less than an hour, visit downtown Orlando or Disney, Universal, Sea World and the other popular Central Florida Attractions . . .
