We purchased this property in 2006 and camped on it for years. We broke ground in 2017 and built our dream vacation home. This property is set back and very quiet. Has amazing views and is walking distance to snowmobile trails and hiking trails. It is very homey and has a lot of wood accents from logs that we cut and milled on our property. We have had so many years of enjoying our porch swing watching the sunset and sunrise. It is a great place to unwind and recharge whether sitting in the living room and looking out to the mountains or snuggling by the woodstove in the basement living room. During the summer the porch and patio are great places to sit out on and soak up the sun or sit on the porch under cover. You can have a fire in the outdoor fireplace and listen to some music and breath in the mountain air.
LIKE TO HIKE! This property is steps away from a great hike to a picnic spot with amazing views and a nice swing to sit and relax to take in all the views and mountain air. Come and enjoy the Summer and Fall in Maine!
We hope you love this property as much as we do! I hope you get to relax and recharge whether you're hiking our favorite trail to the tree fort or venturing out to Cornish, Fryeburg or North Conway for adventures or just relaxing on the porch swing. We love to do all of it. It is definitely our favorite place!
You will pass by our friendly neighbors (Give them a wave)! They are quiet and respectful. Please return the favor. You might pass them on our hiking trials too. We are located 15 minutes from Cornish, Maine which has the best little downtown area and the absolute best restaurant Krista's! (Be sure to make a reservation) Lots of antique and specialty stores. You can also venture to Fryeburg which is about 20 minutes from us for a great meal at the 302! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! This is another personal favorite! North Conway, New Hampshire is about 30 minutes from us and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants and attractions. Skiing at Shawnee Peak is about 25-30 minutes from us, and Pleasant Mountain in Bridgton is about 30 minutes from us.
