Steve and Kristen love sharing their favorite locations in Florida and New England with guests. Steve is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Kristen grew up in Southeast Massachusetts. Both share a love for restoring homes and spending time boating. From coastal New England to balmy Florida - there is something for everyone to enjoy. “We absolutely love sharing our favorite places with our guests - we feel like we are hosting family !”

This apartment is located in the historic JB Houghton House c.1888. Explore Portland’s East End just steps away from Washington St destinations like Oxbow, Duckfat Frites Shack, The Shop Oyster, Root Wild Kombucha, Terlingua, Maine Craft Distillery, and much more! There is a large grassy park across the street with city views and the North St location is also 10 minute walk to the Old Port.

The laid-back East End, also known as Munjoy Hill, is popular for walks and relaxation along the grassy Eastern Promenade, with views over Casco Bay. Other landmarks include the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Co. & Museum and the Portland Observatory, an 1807 signal tower. Boutiques sell gifts and gourmet goods, and traditional eateries mix with chic restaurants and bars around Washington Avenue.
