Secluded rustic wilderness luxury, Goldilocks is a Canton cabin on 88 acres of land in the Blue Ridge Mountains and surrounded by rushing river sounds, beautiful trees, and stunning trailheads. Rustic yet updated, the cabin's hand-hewn log cabin interior is fully updated and splashed with sunshine. Under vaulted ceilings, enjoy preparing delicious dishes in the full kitchen, complete with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, ample meal prep space, and a vast amount of utensils and kitchenware. After a day spent exploring the great outdoors, cozy up in front of the living room's wood fireplace - a cup of cocoa and your vacation read in hand. When you aren't hanging out here, the front porch overlooks lovely pond views and is a great space to catch up with the people who mean the most to you. The cabin's sleeping quarters are equally plush, lined with soft linens and comfortable mattresses. The retreat's amenities extend to a private washer/dryer, partial air-conditioning, and internet access. When exploring the area, be sure to check out the Cradle of Forestry Overlook, Sliding Rock, the Cradle of Forestry in America Museum, State Rock Creek, and Springdale Resort. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only seven miles away and sports 469 miles of scenic views of the Appalachian Highlands. On the way there, fly fish in the Pigeon River or go for a hike at Looking Glass Falls. On the subject of hiking, Cold Mountain houses the famous Great Balsam Mountains, whose summit takes seven hours to reach. After your exciting outdoor adventures, stop off in Waynesville and Canton to pick up something at the general store for everyone to enjoy later. Things to Know -Check-in time: 4:00 PM. -Check-out time: 10:00 AM. -Guests may request firewood delivered 7 days prior to arrive. Charge will be 80 dollars for the equivalent of 5 bundles of firewood.

No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
