PNW River Cabin is a mountain retreat set along the banks of the Sauk River in Darrington, offering sweeping views of the North Cascades. This cozy getaway combines rustic charm with modern comfort, making it the perfect escape for couples, families, or small groups.
Inside, the cabin features an open-concept living area with leather seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining space centered around a custom wood-slab table. The well-equipped kitchen includes cookware, spices, and essentials for home cooking. A loft-style sleeping area adds character, while large windows frame stunning views of the river and surrounding peaks.
Step outside to relax in the 4-person hot tub, or gather around the riverside firepit set into a private beach with stone accents. With plush linens, modern amenities, and thoughtful design, this cabin balances comfort with the natural beauty of its setting. PNW River Cabin is also dog-friendly (with fee), so your furry friend can join the adventure.

The cabin is located along the Sauk River near Darrington, WA, a small mountain town surrounded by the peaks of the North Cascades and just about an hour from the entrance to North Cascades National Park. Guests can enjoy direct river access for fishing, swimming, or simply relaxing on the private beach, as well as easy access to world-class hiking trails.
Nearby adventures include Whitehorse Mountain, Squire Creek Pass, and the North Fork Sauk trail system. In summer, the river is a hub for rafting and kayaking, while fall brings vibrant foliage and winter offers snowshoeing and backcountry skiing.
Just five minutes north, Darrington offers groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, and the popular River Time Brewery — a favorite local gathering spot with craft beer and live music.
