Hello!
We're Rick and Karen Porter, and we're excited to be your hosts for a pleasant stay the Porter Haus Bed & Breakfast. Our B&B (opened in 2019) is one of very few remaining traditional-style, owner-resident bed and breakfast facilities in the Fredericksburg area. Karen is a great cook, and enjoys serving up a country-gourmet breakfast each morning for our guests (breakfast is included with your stay).
We have 2 dogs ("Bear Dog"), a shepherd-mix rescue, very people friendly, plus an 8-pound mini-Dacshund ("Gertie") who thinks she owns the place. Both dogs sleep in our owner's bedroom, and are confined in their bedroom crate kennels whenever we're not at home.
Please come to visit, relax and enjoy the hill-country view from our back patio! We look forward to seeing you soon.
