Shoshone Village is a small oasis on the edge of Death Valley National Park. . . Shoshone has a 20’ by 60’ natural warm spring pool available to guests staying in Shoshone. The 89 F (32 C) degree water flows from beneath the black rock mountain directly behind the park.

At the Shoshone RV Park, Tents and Cabins, we have a community library on property and a community fire ring. The park has two nearby walking trails that might be of interest to you, our pupfish habitat trail and a birding trail. A large pond that borders the south end of the park makes a great spot to observe visiting water fowl or to listen to an evening chorus of frogs.

Just a short walk/drive away in Shoshone’s central village is Charles Brown General Store with Gas Station and Gift Shop. The Famous Crowbar Café and Saloon serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers a full bar.  There’s also a small local museum, the Shoshone Museum, where you can explore the history, ecology, and geology of the Amargosa River Valley.

Wander down the quiet back-road to town and then back to camp in the evening and be wowed by our night skies.

There are several birding trails for guests to explore. We have a pupfish habitat that everyone should see....we are trying to conserve the ecosystem so that future generations will have the area to explore and learn from.
At night, you can listen to the chorus of coyotes howling in the distance while gazing at the star filled skies.
You can relax and refresh in the Natural Warm Spring pool, located near the park.
We are just a short drive to Badwater Road which leads to the middle of Death Valley National Park. We are a great base to explore the national park from.
