Step away from everyday life and escape to this lovely cabin located in Government Camp! With an open layout, guests will feel at home in this beautiful mountain setting. Spend entertaining and relaxing afternoons at home reading a good book or playing one of the many board games available. The cabin has a convenient full kitchen and you should feel free to bring and cook your own food during your stay. Some of the appliances include a sink, an oven and stove, a microwave, a toaster, a blender, a waffle iron/skillet (reversible), and a mini-fridge. There is also a quaint dining table right by the stove for sharing meals and conversation about the day. The neighborhood is great for walking. In a few minutes you can stroll down to the heart of Government Camp’s main drag, and without driving you can be cross-country skiing or hiking, depending on the season, on the Glade Trail, Crosstown Trail, or around Trillium Lake. Try one of the many great local restaurants or stock up on groceries at the nearby markets and cook your best dishes at home. A short drive will take you to Ski Bowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, Teacup Nordic Center, or Cooper Spur Resort. Even the town of Hood River is easily accessible, almost 42 miles away. THINGS TO KNOW Please remove your shoes while inside the home. This home does not include a TV but has high-speed internet with streaming capabilities, also great for remote work and distance learning.
