Company information

Hello, we are Jane and Jiten, the founders of White Birch Collective LLC and proud hosts of Stratton Ski Haus. Our vision for this company grew from a shared love of Vermont and a desire to create welcoming retreats where families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts can reconnect with nature without giving up the comforts of home. We live just outside of New York City with our two energetic boys, ages 4 and 6, who inspire us to design spaces that are family-friendly, practical, and fun. Jane spent summers surrounded by forests and quiet trails, while Jiten is a ski aficionado who feels most at home on the slopes of Stratton Mountain. Together, we wanted to build a vacation home that brought those passions together — a place our family would love to return to throughout the year. White Birch Collective LLC is the umbrella for our growing portfolio of nature-inspired properties. At each home, we carefully select locations that balance outdoor adventure with peace and privacy. From cozy interiors and thoughtful amenities to curated local recommendations, our goal is to help guests feel both cared for and free to make lasting memories. At Stratton Ski Haus, our first property, we combined the rustic charm of an A-frame cabin with modern conveniences: high-speed internet, smart workspaces, a hot tub and sauna, and a fully stocked kitchen. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, leaf-peeping, or simply sitting by the fire, we want our home to feel like your home. We look forward to expanding White Birch Collective with more retreats over time, but our mission will remain the same: creating warm, stylish spaces rooted in nature where families — including our own — can recharge, play, and experience Vermont at its best.

Property information

Welcome to Stratton Ski Haus — a newly renovated A-frame cabin tucked into 1.5 private acres of Vermont forest. Designed as a year-round retreat, this four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home blends the charm of classic chalet living with modern comforts, making it perfect for families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Inside, the great room greets you with soaring cathedral ceilings, a striking wood-burning fireplace, and large windows that frame the surrounding trees. The open-concept kitchen and dining area feature a Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker, French press, grinder, and a selection of teas — perfect for slow mornings before a day on the slopes or trails. Bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged for groups: two king rooms (one in the open loft), a queen room, and a bunk room with four twin beds. All linens are 100% cotton, and bathrooms are stocked with Apotheke toiletries, hair dryers, and fresh towels. The cabin is equipped with high-speed WiFi, a dedicated workspace with a standing desk, monitor, and ergonomic chair, plus Roku TVs for movie nights. A heated mudroom keeps gear organized, while laundry facilities, cleaning supplies, and airtight food storage make longer stays easy. Step outside to enjoy the hot tub, sauna, and outdoor fire pit — ideal for après-ski evenings or summer stargazing. A Level 2 EV charger is available; please bring your own cable. Yard games like cornhole, badminton, and frisbee add to the fun during warmer months. The location is hard to beat: Stratton Mountain is just 13 minutes away, with Magic, Bromley, Okemo, and Mount Snow all under 30 minutes, and Killington about an hour’s drive. In summer and fall, hike to nearby Jamaica State Park or Cole Pond, visit local farm stands, or explore Manchester’s shops and restaurants. Stratton Ski Haus was created with care to provide both adventure and relaxation — a place where you can recharge in style while making memories with the people who matter most.

Neighbourhood information

Stratton Ski Haus is perfectly located to enjoy all four seasons of Vermont adventure. In winter, you’ll be just 13 minutes from Stratton Mountain and within 30 minutes of Magic, Bromley, Okemo, and Mount Snow — making it easy to explore multiple ski resorts in one trip. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling trails are also close by, giving you plenty of options beyond alpine skiing. When the snow melts, the area transforms into a playground of hiking, biking, and water adventures. From the house you can walk to neighborhood trails that link directly to Jamaica State Park, Ball Mountain Dam, and scenic overlooks. Swim, kayak, or fish at Cole Pond or Salmon Hole, or pack a picnic and discover the area’s waterfalls and swimming holes. Fall brings one of the most vibrant foliage displays in New England — leaf-peeping in October is truly breathtaking. Local flavor is part of the charm here. Just 5 minutes away, Jamaica Village offers a general store and Honeypie, a local favorite for burgers and sandwiches. In under 25 minutes, you’ll reach Manchester with its boutique shops, outlet stores, Northshire Bookstore, craft breweries, and dining options ranging from cozy cafés to farm-to-table restaurants. Don’t miss Dutton’s Farm Stand or Nature’s Market for fresh produce and Vermont specialties. Back at the property, you won’t need to go far to enjoy your stay. Soak in the 6-person hot tub, relax in the sauna, or stargaze by the wood-burning fire pit. Families and groups can make the most of the open yard with cornhole, bocce, badminton, frisbee, horseshoes, and soccer. Whether you’re here to carve fresh tracks, hike through green forests, chase waterfalls, or simply relax under the stars, Stratton Ski Haus offers the perfect base to experience the beauty of Southern Vermont.
