This is my home and I share it with guests for periodic private short-term rental. Clean, conscientious, and responsible travelers are welcome. If guests feel they are unable to take good care of the space, please consider booking another space. I love hosting families but have found my space best suited for infants or older children (10+). The home includes some delicate furnishings and is not set up for active young children.
My charming row home is nestled in a quiet family neighborhood close to essentials and many attractions. Guests will enjoy a comfortable private space that has been thoroughly cleaned. Immediate access to i295 easily connects guests to downtown DC (15 mins), Maryland, and Virginia. This home accommodates up to (5) people for overnight stays.
I look forward to hosting you.

Actor, dancer, and yoga enthusiast born and raised in Washington, DC. I live part-time in DC and NYC. My DC home originally belonged to my grandparents, and has always been a safe haven and place of peace. In 2020 I did a partial interior renovation that included updating all of the infrastructure. I did about 30% of the work with my own hands and improvements continue.
For me space matters and a home should serve multiple purposes, chief among them are comfort and cleanliness. I am very particular about everything, but especially how space is kept so guests can rest assured that I've really attempted to cover all the details.
I love being a creative and also enjoy traveling, connecting, and sharing.
Situated in one of DC's most established neighborhoods, River Terrace/Lily Ponds is a cul de sac community offering guests peaceful surroundings and a hassle free environment. River Terrace is sequestered between a vastly disparate group of surrounding neighborhoods. The diversity in demographics are a reflection of DC's gentrification process in parts of NE and beyond. Amongst the city's evolution, River Terrace has been a consistently stable community. The older population, natural surroundings, and convenient location anchor this historic community and make it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Want easy access to essentials like gas, groceries, and restaurants? Stay here. Want to enjoy parks and outdoor activities like biking, tennis, basketball, or golfing? Definitely stay here! Need to get downtown, to the Waterfront, Barracks Row or the H Street Corridor quickly? Stay here.
The area boasts generous outdoor recreation spaces and is perfect for families, business professionals, leisure travelers, remote workers, traveling healthcare pros, and anyone interested in exploring all that DC has to offer.
Getting around is easy!
Public transportation (Minnesota Avenue, Stadium Armory, or Union Station are closest); the C33 bus stops right on the corner and will take you directly to Minnesota Ave Metro (Orange Line), ride share (Uber + Lyft) or rent a scooter, DC Street car (15-20 mins walking), biking (grab a bike from the park; 5 mins walking), and I also walk a lot. It just depends on the day and weather; there are plenty of options for getting around:-).
