THE STORY OF WOLFEHAVEN Vacation in comfort and old style, while helping us celebrate the home's 100th birthday ​This Farmhouse was built in 1925. The main farmhouse was torn down many years ago. This home was used through the years by the many workers and their families, sometime for many years at a time. We are in a sheltered valley surrounded by a working farm that is managed for both crops and timber. Very quite and peaceful. Beautiful sunrises can be viewed from the spacious front porch while enjoying a cup of coffee looking out over the property. Lot's of wildlife, deer, bear, turkeys our resident pair of Redtail hawks along with other wildlife. Renovated with care in 2020 to improve efficiency while maintaining the characteristics of the original farmhouse. Very private with easy access to Asheville's best. We are 15 minutes from Downtown, the Biltmore Estate, the Asheville Airport and Asheville's best breweries. Only 5 to 10 minutes from the NC Arboretum, the Tanger Outlet Mall, Blue Ridge Parkway, Bent Creek with its miles of hiking and biking trails, grocery stores and many local restaurants. Free private parking, front entrance several steps or rear entrance with only 2 steps. We are pet friendly and we are pet owners also. Our dogs are restricted to our yard and cannot crossover into the yard of the Farmhouse yard. (not so much control over the 2 cats, but they are friendly). ​YOUR FURRY FRIENDS ARE WELCOME HERE! ​Although Western NC was devastated by Helene, we were blessed that our structures only received minor damaged. ​We are OPEN and ready for your Asheville experience. ​Come to the Mountains.

Unfortunately, portions of the Blue Ridge are not open at his time due to hurricane Helene and may be quite a while before some sections are. This house was used by the workers farmhouses of this 255 acre working farm. The farm was and is managed for both crops and timber. A additional small house was added in the mid 90’s next door to the farmhouse. It has been since that time remodeled into the main house of the property. We are in a small sheltered valley at the end of the road. Very peaceful and quite. From here you can reach Asheville’s best in minutes. Come for your Asheville experience.
