I'm what you would call an "Accidental Host". My skills as a professional photographer lead me to meeting with a local homeowner that lead to me forming Desert Vacation dot Rentals, LLC and managing multiple properties in California, Maine, New York and France. I've been a resident here in the desert for 30 years and counting. Joshua Tree National Park is my "church" and my photography muse. I love sharing my passion for this arid landscape with visitors from all over the world. Whether it be sharing some of my favorite locations in the park or dining at one of our local restaurants. There's more here to do than meets the eye. I encourage you to connect with locals and experience as much of this unique landscape while you are here. We will be accessible 24/7 for our guests either via phone, text or through the Airbnb app. Expect a quick and prompt response. We give our guests space but are available for every enquiry. Outdoors, a fenced patio with a dining table, propane BBQ, and native landscaping creates a relaxed desert atmosphere. The Maude House is also pet-friendly, making it an ideal choice for guests traveling with dogs.
