Hello from the owners of The Oaks Victorian Inn, Shannon and Jason Magenheimer. We both have over 30 years of combined customer service and management in the hospitality world. Previous to acquiring The Oaks, Jason worked at an upscale boutique hotel in Bend Oregon where exceptional is the expectation. Acknowledged time and time again by name in raving reviews of his knowledge, service standards, and all-around fun personality. Shannon was raised on a farm, not too far from the magnificent grounds of The Oak Victorian Inn. A home she dreamed of as a child but never imagined calling it home someday. In her career she held her Les Clef D’or gold key status as a Concierge for many years before she moved into revenue management and resort advisory work. We are happily married since 1995. We both appreciate and love good food, coffee and a quiet rest. Together we are the Bellman and Concierge. Warm hospitality, comfortable, relaxed elegance and memorable stays are the hallmark of The Oaks. Opened originally an inn in 1989, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, the tall sunny windows, turrets, stained glass, wrap-around porch, perennial garden, complete with gazebo garden cottage and koi pond are an endless fascination to guests from around the world. The entire history of the house is steeped in romance. Major W.L. Pierce built the inn in 1889 as a wedding gift for his bride, Julia Baird. Seven Pierce offspring were born at The Oaks. William, Edwin, Florence, Thompson, Walter and Anna. Julia, who devoted her entire life to the keeping of her wedding gift and family home until her death at age 99.  Her beauty and mystique carefully preserved, still continue to this day.
