“House is in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Kayaks & dingy boats available. Hot tub which is great, in the canal, private dock. All updated appliances. Ac stopped 2nd day but host had it fixed immediately in the morning.”

Property information

Waterfront canal home with water edge patio and attractive upper patio w fire pit. 3 bedrooms (also bed in den) 2 baths with seawall access going out through Ainger Creek to Lemon Bay. 1.5 miles to the Bay and 3 miles total to the Gulf of Mexico. There's a King, Queen & Full beds and a 4th double opening couch in the den. 2 baths, laundry and fully outfitted kitchen. Giant lanai with tables, chairs & outdoor seating with a gas grill above the waterway view. Englewood beach within 3.1 miles.

Neighbourhood information

Englewood Florida is a quiet mix of retirees and familys. The main feature is Lemon Bay which is 1 mile by 8 miles long, and the canal at this home winds under 2 bridges ( one at 11 feet and one at 7.5) in to the Bay. At Stump Pass is where the Bay opens to the Gulf of Mexico. As an added Note: Lemon Bay is substantially about 3-4 feet deep throughout its 8 square miles of area, except where channels have been dredged for boat traffic and the ICW (InterContinental Waterway). This is excellent for every type of water recreation (and safety). Shopping Malls are within 8-10 blocks, yet this home is on a limited street which is not a through street to another area.
