In mid-2017, Bobby expanded the brand with Mekong Rustic Can Tho, featuring 6 rustic bungalows surrounded by lush gardens and tranquil rivers. Each bungalow is designed using traditional materials like bamboo and wood, blending harmoniously with the natural environment while providing modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Mekong Rustic Can Tho continues the mission of sustainable tourism, emphasizing environmental conservation and cultural preservation. Bobby’s commitment to sustainable tourism extends beyond Mekong Rustic. He actively participates in international projects aimed at developing sustainable tourism models in rural Vietnam. Notably, he is involved in the Swiss Sustainable Tourism Program from 2019 to 2023 and currently serves as the Destinations & SME’s Project Manager under the Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development Project from 2023 to 2027. His work focuses on creating innovative tourism solutions that benefit local communities while preserving cultural heritage and protecting the environment. With his vast experience and passion for sustainable tourism, Bobby Nguyen continues to inspire change in Vietnam's tourism industry.
