Hello! This is me - an Afrikaans, small-town girl, lover of life, bon vivant! As the host and owner of the beautiful Church View Apartment, De Waterkant, I look forward to welcoming you to the heart of the Mother City. You'll want to stay a little longer ;-)
The De Waterkant district is a beautifully social and lively place to occupy. It has culture and chic and good food, and is pretty sheltered from the infamous Cape Town wind. If you don’t mind noise of typical busy city life, or nearby unavoidable construction sites, it’s the perfect Cape Town getaway. Walking distance to the conveniently located award winning Cape Quarter Spar, newly opened Cucina Cafe in the renowned Goodman Gallery. A block up, tucked away, you will find Cape Town's best kept secret, Osteria Tarantino, an authentic Italian Restaurant. Besides Uber, Cape Town city has a wonderful and reliable bus service called the MyCiti Bus which allows you to get from A to B safely. You probably won't need either while staying in De Waterkant as everything you could wish for is right on your doorstep.
