We arrived in Witsand in March 2016 whilst on holiday , we stayed over for one night on our way to Cape Town , and just loved this special village so much that we ended up buying a home and have been living in Witsand now since October 2016 - we hope you will enjoy your time in Witsand as much.
Owen grew up in Zimbabwe, and farmed citrus, cattle and maize there, until we moved to Witsand. Owen has four children, some in UK and one in Zimbabwe with three grandchildren.
He is enjoying his career change from farming to tourism! and aswell as being a keen cyclist - he is also learnt to kite surf at the grand old age of 60!!
Owen married Helen in 2012. She was born in the UK and after studying at the Royal Agricultural University in the UK ,she spent many years travelling the globe, working in tourism /farming or volunteering to fund these travels.
We both enjoy to travel and meeting new people - and look forward to welcoming you to Witsand.
