Bartholomew’s Loft forms part of the historic Artificer’s Square; the intersection of Cross and Bartholomew Street which is the old artisan quarter of 1820 Grahamstown. Many restored original houses, now National Monuments, reflect a number of 1820 Settler architectural styles and wagon stones and cobbled gutters still exist.
