We are the only guesthouse located directly on the canals of St Francis Bay, offering serene waterfront rooms with tranquil canal views. Graded 4-stars by South African Tourism, each room is individually decorated with a calm, stylish aesthetic and features luxury bathrooms with free-standing baths. Guests enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast made from locally-sourced ingredients. The guesthouse provides private dock access for boat pickups and sunset cruises, as well as direct access to pristine canal waters and complimentary kayaks to explore the waterways. Just across the road is an upmarket waterfront restaurant, and nearby are beautiful beaches, two golf courses—including a top-5 course—local shops, and the village centre. We are powered by a solar off-grid energy system, use filtered and UV-sterilised natural water, and follow eco-conscious and cruelty-free practices.

We have over 15 years of experience in both the corporate and service industries, including time spent working on superyachts and managing private island estates in the Bahamas. Our love for travel and hospitality has taken us to fascinating places such as Cuba, and inspired our dream of creating a guesthouse of our own. When we returned to South Africa, we chose to settle in beautiful St Francis Bay for its charm, canal lifestyle, and relaxed atmosphere. We fell in love with this property for its incredible water views and have enjoyed transforming it into a contemporary, comfortable, and eco-conscious retreat for discerning guests. St Francis Bay is also a world-renowned surfing destination, home to the iconic Bruce’s Beauties — one of the most famous right-hand breaks in the world, made legendary in the cult classic surf film The Endless Summer.
