The Lodge is situated on the popular Sunshine Coast in a beautiful, private County Estate at Cove Rock. Close to Beach5 5 Minute drive to East London/King Phaolo Airport 5 Minute drive to IDZ 2 Minute drive to East London Grand Prix Circuit 1 Minute drive to R72 to Port Alfred/Port Elizabeth 10km from East London City Centre. Whether in East London on holiday, a stop-over or business, Cowrie Lodge is the ideal place to stay. Guests can enjoy free WI-FI, Smart TV, Fridge & Coffee/Tea facilities & daily cleaning Monday to Friday, excluding Public holidays. Cowrie Lodge prides itself on exceptional service by our friendly staff that are always willing to provide the best service possible to our guests by offering clean, spacious, comfortable accommodation. Most importantly to ensure privacy & tranquillity for every guest. We therefore do not accommodate for social gatherings or Parties. We are also, unfortunately, not pet friendly, due to a “no pets allowed into the Estate by Visitors” rule of the Cove Rock Homeowners Association.

Cove Rock Country Estate is an upmarket, private, access controlled Estate; guests are therefore required to produce identification on arrival for every visitor over the age of 16. The speed limit is strictly 30km per hour to protect children, adults & wildlife walking the streets of our Estate. The wildlife roam freely & can be seen strolling & relaxing in the gardens. The beach is a 200m walk from the Lodge, as well as the 9 Hole Golf Course, Tennis Court, Mini Rugby/Soccer Field, Cricket Pitch, Swimming Pool, Children’s play equipment, a Spaza Shop & a Clubhouse.
