Recently restored to its original old self, this 160 year old Farmhouse is a place to retreat, rest, relax, entertain and have fun with family and friends. Only a 30min drive from Cape Town, this is a place where you can reconnect with yourself and nature. It's warm, textural, earthy and calming. Treat yourself to spectacular sunrises and sunsets viewed from the surrounding stoop. Traditional living at its best with a beautiful relationship between light and dark within the house. The 2 Colonial style double bedrooms within the Manor House (own entrance) will take you back to days gone by. Original wooden floors and high ceilings with very comfortable beds will make you want to stay for longer. The rooms steps out onto a wide open lawn with a peaceful garden an original reservoir for guest to use. Guest are welcome to participate in the day to day activities such as feeding the animals, help grooming the horses or just sit and watch the day go by...
Step back in time and come relax in the middle of nowhere although you only 38km away from Cape Town. The host is a pretty relaxed guy that enjoy spending time outside with his horses and want you to feel as if you're at home away from home
With Only 40 mins drive from Cape Town, you will feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful surroundings, blue open skies, fresh air and beautiful sunsets is what you will be accompanied by staying with us.
