Located in Mooiriver, Hartford House provides 5-star hotel accommodation with valley views of the Drakensberg. Nestled on a historic stud farm in the countryside, the estate has a chapel and conference venue. The suites at Hartford House are individually decorated and come with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Guests are treated to a dining experience which consists of a six-course tasting menu. An optional wine paring is also available. A full English breakfast is served daily on the verandah, which boasts garden views of the estate. The wellness centre provides spa treatments and guests can also enjoy the outdoor pool or make use of the tennis court. Other activities on the estate include stud tours, horse riding, trout fishing and lawn games such as swing ball and croquet. Babysitting service is provided at a surcharge and the concierge desk can arrange tours to the nearby San rock art caves or the Mandela Capture Site.
