“The fact that there was a gas stove and a gas heater for loadshedding. As it was cold and rainy, the gas heater came handy. The outside shower and a fire place was a bonus, though we didn't use them due to the weather. There is still safe places...”

Heron’s View is a solar powered, peaceful, eco-friendly, ground floor apartment, with expansive north facing views across the Knysna lagoon. Situated in Brenton on Lake, enjoy the tranquility of the setting, whilst having the convenience of all that Knysna offers, a mere 15-minute drive away. This superior apartment offers everything needed for self-catering, including a patio to relax and take in nature. The private front entrance leads directly off well lit, covered parking, without stairs.
Your hosts live in the separate upper level of the property, and are usually available for any assistance or advice you may need. We are a nature loving couple, who embrace all that Knysna has to offer. We love travelling - locally and internationally - and love meeting new people.
The suburb of Brenton on Lake is a tranquil oasis. Lots of Yellowwood and Milkwood trees offer sanctuary to prolific birdlife, as well as the free roaming bushbuck. Brenton on Sea is 4km away, with a beautiful rocky beach and a picturesque beach walk to Buffalo Bay (4km away).
