The basin and its lush rolling hills are drained by the Klein Berg River and its tributaries...a truly special place!

We are a family of 4. West is a CEO many times over. Katherine was a flight attendant for 20 years, now at home with the boys. We LOVE to explore new places, and consider ourselves to BE “hyper-travelers.”We enjoy everything about the outdoors...camping, skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, playing tennis, swimming in the ocean, or paddling down a river. We are avid scuba divers as well. We are very communal, and feel the "shared economy" is the way to go. We own an RV and love to hit the road in the summer with our family. We especially enjoy heading to music festivals, rivers, or to see places we have never been to. Oh The Places You Will Go!!! We are very relaxed, and hope people are able to make themselves at home. We have dinner parties frequently, and are usually out and about. We also tend to travel with friends who have families. Historic Church Street is a gorgeous, tree lined, walkable road with restaurants and shops, nestled in the mountainous wine country surrounding Tulbagh, less than 1.5 hours from Cape Town. Home has free street parking. Great walkability!
