HOUSE OF ART - Earth Creations is located in the mountains of Limpopo. Fresh mountain air, tranquility and hygienic safety regulations are guaranteed. House of Art is designed by the owners Eric and Marion. Its internal and external design represents the creativity of the owners. An Austrian style house in the middle of the mountains of Limpopo trying to adjust with the African style, a big mosaic giraffe next to the entrance as well as the mountain fountain right in front of the door made by Marion. And so are various mosaic murals around the house. The art studio and its showroom is well visible to our guests and visitors and gives them the opportunity to explore their own creativity by joining a pottery class.
We recently added a very strong Wifi / Internet connection for our guests and braai / BBQ facilities with complimentary use of crockery and cutlery. However, we DO NOT ALLOW cooking inside our rooms, that's why we offer outside braai facilities and microwave. Unfortunately not suitable for children under 12 years of age as we have many ceramic and glass art items around.
Please note: The owners & management of House of Art will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or their property arising from any cause whatsoever.
Eric is from Holland, he is a glass artist who designs, makes and repairs glass in lead. Marion from Austria is a ceramic artist and together we turn our inspiration into creating decorative art which can be seen not only in our showroom but also in and around the house. We want to give our guests the opportunity to experience ceramic painting and let you paint your own small ceramic plaque free of charge which we will then add on to our plaque collection on the veranda of House of Art.
Earth Creations House of Art is in the middle of the village against the mountain, walking distance to all shops and restaurants, hiking routes and mountain bike routes. The fresh mountain air will want you to hike through the forest which is just behind the House of Art. The village offers festivals every 3 months, tourist attractions all around the year and they are clearly described in the local magazine which is free of charge and available to every guest.
Start your day with a morning walk through the forest, breakfast at one of the restaurants in the village, a trip to the Debegeni water falls or an Adventure canopy tour. This village has so much to do, you will never run out of options.
