We chose Villa Leopards Lookout as our holiday home because of it's magical setting close to the river and in amongst wild land, where one can sit round a campfire and hear only the distant sound of a roaring lion or the distinctive whistle of a Piet-my-vrou. The house itself embraces the natural charm with thatch roofs, wooden finishings and out of Africa Princess beds. It's a place to feel close to the wild while enjoying modern luxuries. It's also a fantastic base from which to approach both the east and west of the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Mozambique and the various sites of the Blyde River Canyon
Me and my partner, two teenage children and dog live in the south of the Netherlands. Besides spending time with my family and friends, am I an ICU-nurse who loves to travel, We would love to share the love for Africa with you in our beautiful Villa Leopard lookout.
Marloth Park is home to all of the non-dangerous the wildlife of the lowveld, including Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebees and game viewing can be done on foot or from your mountain bike. It also has beautiful drives along the Crocodile River with opportunities to see all of the big 5, especially Elephant who enjoy bathing in the river. Marloth is also the ideal base from which to explore the Kruger National Park, being only 15 minutes from Crocodile Bridge and 30mins from Malelane Gate. It is within easy striking distance of the famous attractions of the Blyde River Canyon such as God’s Window and Bourke’s luck. Swaziland and Mozambique are also only a few kilometres away.
