Safe and secure parking for a car and trailer are provided on the property behind an electric gate. Access to the unspoilt beach via a fisherman’s walkway is a mere 130 meters down the road (for the venturesome) or via a wooden staircase, a further 1.5 km. Power backup system in place to provide electricity during load shedding.

As much as your host would like to meet you and spend time discussing all that can be done in the Wilderness area, we also would like to give you privacy and a chance to explore the area on your own. We have made this possible with electronically controlled access to the property which does not only give you peace of mind but also give you freedom to come and go as you please. There is Check-In and Check-Out procedure that will be communicated to you on the day of your arrival which will guide you all the way in getting secure access to your room. If in need your host will always be a phone call away and with the help of our local host if personal assistance is required.

An abundance of nearby hiking trails and scenic routes await you or take a lazy stroll on the endless beach. For the more adventurous there are paragliding (8min drive), canoeing on the Touw River (8min drive) or quadbike rides (8min drive). Otherwise make your way to the Milkwood evening market in the central Wilderness village (7min drive) on a Friday night and experience the vibrant atmosphere of local crafts, good food and live music. If you enjoy good food then look no further as Wilderness is renowned for its restaurants and Cafés.
