Miskloof is a rustic getaway experience with all the comforts for people who want to escape busy city life and get back to nature.
This 1000 hectare farm offers one farm house for hire making this an exclusive getaway opportunity. The property offers wide open spaces , total peace and quiet surrounded by magnificent mountains with beautiful sunsets. There is a small solar system which powers lights and the fridge.
Candles are provided for ambience.
Enjoy hiking, exploring caves , Swimming in the dam , star gazing from the hot tub at night, Cycling or Bonding with family and friends while playing old fashioned games. Feed and love the 16 donkeys who will visit you. OR simply relax and soak in the peace and quiet and beauty that surrounds you.
One can experience the magic of the Karoo flowers from June to September. Snow sometimes in winter but if not on the farm it is a short 15 minute drive to the Matroosberg mountain range where there is usually snow during the winter months.
We welcome all guests who want to be surrounded by nature, peace and quiet and beautiful scenery.
If wanting to do some game viewing, take a 20 minute drive down the road to Aquila Private game reserve.
