Welcome to Natures Rest in the heart of the Klein Karoo. We hope you will enjoy you stay with us. The farm is close to Herold, however not to be confused with Herold's Bay. The farm is off the grid with only solar power, an ideal tranquil getaway for nature lovers. Mountain bikers will love this farm as it is on Outeniqua Trail, and there are smaller trails on the farms itself.
There are various units available on the farm. Guests have use of a lapa, which contains 2 bedrooms, and a shared communal open-plan kitchen and lounge with an indoor firpelace for those cold Karoo evenings. Outside is a lapa is a large boma and braai with a deck for viewing stars at night and looking over the area.
The farm is conveniently located between Oudtshoorn, George, Uniondale, Swartberg Mountain Range, Montagu and more, making this the ideal holiday location to explore the area. There are various mountain bike gravel roads around the farm to explore as well as short walking and biking trails. Bird watchers will love this area because of its quiet Karoo quietness and ample bird species found here.
