I am a retired lecturer in the hospitality and clothing industry and been involved in education most of my working life. I grew up in the hospitality industry as my parents had a hotel in Upington. We came to retire in Keurboomstrand in 2010. I use to be a keen horse rider and was S.A champion American saddle ladies rider in 1972. I have also been involved in breeding, showing and grooming of French Poodles. I am a very active cyclist and love my mountain biking. I compete in various mountain bike races. I am an outdoor person who makes full use of the incredible nature that surrounds us. My Love for people and our beautiful environment made it a natural choice to get involved in the hospitality trade.
I have two grown children and three grand children that live in Spain. My husband was a lecturer in art and is now doing sculpture on commission. We have been coming to Keurboomstrand since 1960. In the early days we camped in the Arch Rock caravan park until my parents bought our present house in 1976. O So Kozi (the original name) is one of the older Keurboomstand houses (circa 1958) Up until now God has blessed me with wonderful guests.
