There's a swimming pool, plenty of benches and seating areas dotted around the garden to just relax and take in the fresh air, beautiful views and birdsong. Your private apartment includes a comfortable bedroom with queen sized bed, a built-in wardrobe and an olde world wood burning fireplace. The big living room has its own fireplace too, ample space to relax, watch TV, enjoy meals or work. You have your own entrance and patio, a fully equipped kitchen with 6 plate gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery etc and a newly renovated bathroom which guests love, with large walk-in shower and bath. (Washing machine in main house with domestic service) Slow life here is a picnic in the garden, sit/meditate/do yoga at the stone circle under the big oak tree, relax with a book on the two seater wooden swing under the vine pergola, chill by the pool, have a braai (barbecue), go walk about and explore, play with the dogs, or just zone out with Netflix all day. I moved to Henley from a busy city life and I've come to love life in the countryside. The main house was originally the farmhouse of a large estate, built in 1930. Almost a century later, the property retains its natural outdoor beauty & the house has a charming blend of old and new. The outdoors here is by far my favourite. I love the garden with its lush, towering trees and green all around. It's peaceful & tranquil. It allows me to work and play with ease. I enjoy the garden, pottery, home DIY and meeting good friends for coffee or a meal at our local eateries. I love it when people come to stay. I've always enjoyed meeting new people - it's always interesting for me getting to know a little bit about where people come from and sharing some insight into how they can explore and enjoy Henley. Come enjoy the slow lane.

Henley on Klip has real countryside feel to it with friendly people, great local eateries with a homely vibe and good food. There's always markets on weekends with local produce, crafts and wares. One of the coolest pubs exist in Henley (The Realm), little known to those except Henleyites and when you're here, we let you in on the secrets of our little village. Anything from deli food (Henley Deli, Breathe), pizza (Molly's, Tastebudz & 1904), the best Viennese cappuccinos and farmstyle breakfasts (About Time), delicious gourmet fare (Molly's & TasteBudz) and a biker's hangout (The Hound) all exist in this warm and friendly little part of the world. It's a place where families go for barefooted strolls on a Sunday, kids riding bicycles with dogs in tow. Worth a visit - for a little slice of Henley heaven. :-D
