Hi! We’re Thies and Birgit, born and raised in Amsterdam. We fell in love with South Africa 13 years ago, and it has truly captured our hearts ever since. Over the years, we’ve built a small collection of luxury safari villas in both the southern Kruger Park area and Hluhluwe, each designed to let guests experience the magic of the bush in comfort and style. Hluhluwe is a small town in the northeast of South Africa, located in the KwaZulu-Natal province. It’s known for its peaceful atmosphere and ideal location between iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the world-famous Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Game Reserve, Africa’s oldest wildlife park. Nearby attractions include iSimangaliso Wetland Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) with its lakes, dunes, and beaches at St. Lucia; Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Park, home to the Big Five; and Sodwana Bay, one of the best diving and snorkeling destinations in the world.
