Property information

Our apartment is in a building facing the Gateway Theatre of shopping, situated on Palm Boulevard in-between two hotels. It is also close to the Umhlanga/La-Lucia/Cornubia business hub. It is a very secure building with 24-hour security and access control on different floors. The building has a lift and there are undercover parking bays. A 5-10 min drive or a 15-20 min walk gets one down to Umhlanga beaches This is an convenient apartment which caters for those wanting a holiday or discerning business person. We offer uncapped wifi via fibre. Please note that currently the country is experiencing various stages of load shedding & disruption to water supply, the latter due to recent flooding in this province. Unfortunately the building's generator only caters for general lighting, & at times water supply is intermittent with low water pressures. Disclaimer: As we have no control on when the national electricity provider, Eskom, will load-shed or the local council will restrict water. Should you have booked & we experience either or both water or electricity issues, please accept our apologies. Unfortunately we will not discount nor provide refunds should this happen. Please note that we are currently experiencing issues with the building 's antiquated policies on short term letting which we have challenged. However in order to respect the security policy of ensuring a safe environment guests have to sign in at security. You do not need to answer questions as to the reason for your stay as that is a privacy issue which needs to be respected. Your are in any case a guest of ours.

Neighbourhood information

The apartment is situated in a building opposite the Gateway theatre of shopping with many restaurants and shops at your disposal. It is not far from Umhlanga's beaches and in-between the airport and the city of Durban This is a very safe environment with the Ridgeside management providing 24 hour security in the area with close surveillance and on the floor patrols
