This is a really unique holiday village which still has more holiday than permanent homes. One of its main assets is the lack of commercialism. The amount of commercially zoned space is very limited and most locals are very determined to preserve this. The motto of the village is 'keep it green, keep it clean ad keep it small' In terms of most other areas of South Africa, it is exceedingly safe here with crime being limited to opportunist crime
