This place really exceeded my expectations The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The stairs were a bit creeky, but for me added to the experience of staying at a 150 year old hotel. Staff were really nice! Strongly recommend to solo travelers who are used to shared bathrooms!

This guesthouse is really special. The rooms are very imaginatively decorated and the whole place was refurbished beautifully in 2017. Bathroom was excellent, bed and the room were both huge and cosy.Luisa was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads and sweet items, plus eggs cooked to order. The guest house is a short walk from Steeg-Gosau train station and is well placed for a visit to Hallstatt. Bonus: the lovely resident black Labradors :)

Everyone was very helpful. They made us feel at home. Whenever we needed anything, they were there to help. Yoko, Betty, and Yushka were very kind and helpful to us. On the last day of our stay, we wanted to spend some time in the reception area, and Yoko was extra kind and helpful. Whenever we asked anything, she helped us with a friendly smile. That made us feel very appreciated. We will definitely suggest this hotel to our friends and would like to visit again.

Very kind service, clean, warm and comfortable rooms, ski boots dryer in the base, free parking :) We loved their breakfast also, the selection of food is great for dinner, their meals are very delicious! Ski areas within a short driving distance :) We really enjoyed our stay here!!! Would highly recommend it to everyone!
