I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful penthouse apartment situated on the bank of a serene lake. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning view of the surrounding mountains. This place really exceeded my expectations The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The stairs were a bit creeky, but for me added to the experience of staying at a 150 year old hotel. Staff were really nice! Strongly recommend to solo travelers who are used to shared bathrooms!

I chose this accommodation, because it was more or less close to the Ramsau ski center, within walking distance, but if you are lazy, there is a bus stop just next to the hotel. The host is amiable and helpful, very warm welcome and problem-solving. Fantastic breakfast! I did to have a chance to stay long in the room, but when I finally got to it, it was calm, and warm, with the hot water.

Very good breakfast, Alex helped arranging very late check-in, SPA and sauna area is exceptional, loved the very cold water pool and the door to the snowy garden overlooking Dachstein!
