The room was very modern and clean. Even with lots of guests the room was very quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. Parking could be better, but we found a space close by. We highly recommend staying here, if you are in Buxton.

Pub was situated in a gorgeous spot overlooking the village of Eyam. Views were spectacular. Rooms were clean, cosy & warm. Good selection of drinks/toiletries & lovely towels. Bed & bedding were super comfy. Pub/restaurant was absolutely fabulous, food & service were amazing. Highly recommend a stay here & we'll definitely be back. Jeremy was so lovely & helpful on the phone with my own personal queries. Thank you.

Room and premises were exceptionally clean. The bed was also very comfy. Great breakfast in the morning. Favourite thing was being able to watch the sunrise from the bed in the morning.

Charming place with kind and helpful staff. Spacious room is separated from the bar and the restaurant so there is no noise. Food for dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, and the breakfast was also fabulous. Spent just one night but would definitely come back again to explore Peak District.

From the outset, Amy who checked us in saw to it that every need was addressed graciously. Whether it was a problem with the tv or our need to delay check out, she handled it all with aplomb! The breakfast was phenominal--and good array of specialty egg and bacon dishes plus full service continental offerings. The place just can't be beat!!
