Everything! The location was ideal and within walking distance of everything, with a car park just across the road. We loved the pub downstairs, especially the dog menu! The atmosphere was great and loved that you could bring your own fish and chips in. We definitely appreciated the snacks in the room too! Room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view. Can't wait to return at some point!

The hotel was absolutely excellent, located in the town centre near the swing bridge. The rooms are full of light, spacious and comfortable with big windows. The pub meal and breakfast were tasty. The staff was obliging and friendly. It was a wonderful stay overall.

The White House Inn is situated on the West Cliff of Whitby with views of Sandsend Cliffs. It offers rooms with free WiFi, a restaurant and the beach is a 5-minute walk away.

The White House Inn was perfect, it’s a very friendly and warm welcoming Inn in a perfect location. It’s only a short walk into Whitby and can be done along the costal path with was really nice. The room was brilliant and really good value for money, I couldn’t believe the size of our room, it was huge with brilliant views of the sea and the golf course. We had breakfast and evening meal and the food was really nice too with plenty of choice.

The Ellerby Country Inn is located just 8 miles from Whitby and 12 miles from Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coastline.

The staff at the Ellerby ( significantly, mostly family) set the bar for all aspects of looking after guests. Friendly without being familiar, helpful and knowledgeable about the region, and excellent value all round.

This 250 year-old traditional English inn is set in the attractive village of Cloughton, 4 miles from Scarborough.
