Staff (as has been in the past) are exceptional. All whom I interacted with were friendly, courteous and professional. The physical building is quaint and charming, but well maintained (carpet is clean, walls are in good repair, doors all shut and lock appropriately, tables in dining area and bar were wiped clean quickly after guests left).

The location is in a lovely quaint village with a couple of fantastic little restaurants and a cafe. Meals here were delicious as was the pub. The managers were fantastic and very friendly. A big shout out to Dave the bar manager who was amazing. I was staying at the pub, (i am from Australia) whilst I was looking after my sister who was very ill. Unfortunately, she passed away and Dave was a big support to me, not sure what I would have done without him. Even the locals would bend over backwards to help. Great place for running, cycling, walking or just a getaway,
