Beautiful design and lovely staff. Comfortable beds (rare in Japan). Central location and peaceful at night. It feels relaxed and homely. Good value for money. A rare gem of a hotel. Super interesting and not like any other hotel I’ve stayed in Japan.

Everything! The staff was phenomenal, the room was clean and big. The location is PERFECT! Right next to Gion. The bathroom was also bigger that i expected (in other hotels we stayed in it was just a small shower with small bath) Kinda struggled with filling the bath but I’m sure if i asked the staff they would definitely help me. But we figured it out :)

This Hostel is the best of my trip in Japan ! So cosy and a typical Japanese home, comfortable, quiet but sociable if you talk with other people in the common room.
